This Privacy Policy explains how Autoslides collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Autoslides mobile app and related services.
Autoslides helps users create AI-assisted TikTok-style photo carousel slideshows, hooks, captions, hashtags, and optional AI-generated slide backgrounds. AI generation is only available after you provide the inputs needed to create content.
1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Autoslides, we may process:
- Profile and brand inputs: app name, brand name, niche, audience, language, features, tone, caption style, image style, hashtags, and logo uploads.
- Content generation inputs: prompts, custom writing instructions, slide count settings, uploaded reference images, and content preferences.
- Generated content: slideshow text, hooks, titles, post captions, hashtags, AI image prompts, AI-generated images, and saved carousel drafts.
- Photo and image data: images you import, upload, select, or generate for use inside slideshows.
- On-device app data: saved profiles, slideshows, library images, settings, usage counters, and preferences stored on your device.
- Technical and usage metadata: app version, device diagnostics, request IDs, generation status, error logs, and image generation usage counters.
- Subscription status: entitlement and transaction status used to provide Pro access where subscriptions are offered.
- Support messages: information you choose to send when contacting support.
2. How we use data
- Create slideshow hooks, slide text, titles, post captions, hashtags, and image prompts.
- Generate or regenerate AI slide backgrounds when you enable AI image generation.
- Save your brand profile, preferred writing style, image style, language, hashtags, and generation settings.
- Render and export slideshow images to your photo library when you choose to save them.
- Enable, validate, and restore Pro subscription access where applicable.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, enforce limits, and provide support.
3. Who data is shared with
We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with providers only as needed to operate the app:
- OpenAI: may receive prompts, brand profile text, caption and image style instructions, uploaded reference images, and generated-content context needed to create AI text or images.
- Backend and hosting providers: may process request metadata and operational data needed to route requests, maintain reliability, and enforce limits.
- RevenueCat: processes subscription identifiers and entitlement status for Pro access validation where subscriptions are offered.
- Apple: handles App Store distribution, billing, subscriptions, refunds, and photo library permissions.
4. AI generation and user control
Autoslides uses AI to generate creative content from the instructions you provide. Generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or different from what you expected. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving generated slideshows before posting or using them publicly.
You control what prompts, images, logos, brand details, and style instructions you provide. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use.
5. Social platforms and generated content
Autoslides is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other social platforms. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with applicable platform rules, advertising rules, intellectual property rights, and local laws.
6. Data storage and retention
Local profiles, generated slideshows, imported images, generated images, and settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Backend systems may retain limited operational metadata for reliability, security, abuse prevention, subscription support, and troubleshooting.
7. Permissions and controls
- Camera and photo library permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
- You can choose whether AI image generation is enabled in the app.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can request support or privacy help using the contact email below.
8. Security
We use standard safeguards including encrypted network transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
Autoslides is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
10. International transfers
Service providers may process data outside your country. This policy applies regardless of processing location.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
