gotem Pro and subscriptions
gotem is a paid-only app after onboarding. If Pro expires or cannot be verified, the app may show the paywall again until an active subscription is restored or purchased.
- To restore an eligible purchase, tap Restore Purchases in the gotem paywall.
- To manage or cancel a subscription, open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
- Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple.
- Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through Apple's refund process.
Camera scans
gotem needs camera permission to scan animals. If scanning fails, confirm camera access in iOS Settings, use brighter lighting, keep the animal in frame, and avoid blurry or heavily cropped photos.
AI detection can be wrong. If gotem cannot identify the animal or rejects a scan, try a clearer photo from a safe distance.
HealthKit steps and boxes
gotem uses Apple HealthKit step data, with permission, to award movement-based mystery boxes. If steps do not update, confirm Health access for gotem in iOS Settings or the Apple Health app, then reopen gotem.
Step counts can be delayed by iOS and Apple Health. gotem does not provide medical or fitness advice.
Crittrs, cards, and progress
Your collection, inventory, trainer progress, and generated card images are stored primarily on your device. If you delete the app or use the delete/reset option, local progress can be removed.
Battles and online invites
Local battles run on device. Online battle features may depend on network access and backend availability. If invites or sessions do not update, check your connection and try again later.
Privacy and data deletion
Use the delete/reset option in gotem to remove local collection data, images, inventory, progress, and settings from your device. For privacy questions, email support and include the request details.
