This Privacy Policy explains how SoccerGPT collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SoccerGPT mobile app and related services.
SoccerGPT is designed to scan football fixtures, scoreboards, betting slips, TV screens, and match context to produce AI-assisted football predictions. AI analysis is only available after you give explicit in-app consent.
1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use SoccerGPT, we may process:
- Match images: screenshots or camera photos you capture or select for fixture recognition and analysis.
- Analysis inputs and outputs: OCR text, detected team names, kickoff context, odds, prompts, and AI responses.
- Football context: fixtures, scores, recent form, head-to-head data, market context, and football news signals used to support predictions.
- On-device app data: saved settings, scan state, local history, and app preferences stored on your device.
- Technical and usage metadata: anonymous identifiers, request IDs, app version, device diagnostics, and usage counters.
- Subscription status: entitlement and transaction status used to provide Pro access.
- Support messages: information you choose to send when contacting support.
2. How we use data
- Identify football teams, fixtures, odds, and match context from scans.
- Generate AI-assisted match predictions, confidence scores, and analysis summaries.
- Load relevant football fixtures, form, head-to-head, trends, and news context.
- Enable, validate, and restore Pro subscription access.
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and provide support.
3. Who data is shared with
We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with providers only as needed to operate the app:
- OpenAI: may receive compressed match images, OCR text, team names, odds, and match context needed to generate AI analysis.
- Backend and hosting providers: process request metadata and app data needed to route requests, maintain reliability, and enforce limits.
- RevenueCat: processes subscription identifiers and entitlement status for Pro access validation.
- Apple: handles App Store distribution, billing, and subscription management.
- Sports and news data providers: provide fixture, score, team, market, and news context used by the app.
4. Consent before AI data sharing
Before the first AI analysis request, SoccerGPT presents a consent screen explaining what data can be sent, who receives it, and how it is used. If you do not consent, AI scan analysis is not available.
You may withdraw consent where supported in app settings. After consent is withdrawn, new AI analysis requests are blocked until consent is granted again.
5. Predictions and sensitive decisions
SoccerGPT predictions are informational and entertainment-focused. They are not guaranteed outcomes and should not be treated as financial, betting, legal, or professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.
6. Data storage and retention
Local app history and settings remain on your device until you clear them or delete the app. Backend systems may retain limited operational metadata for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and subscription support.
7. Permissions and controls
- Camera and photo library permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can request support or privacy help using the contact email below.
8. Security
We use standard safeguards including encrypted network transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
SoccerGPT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
10. International transfers
Service providers may process data outside your country. This policy applies regardless of processing location.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
