How Girlmaxxing handles your information and face scans.

This Privacy Policy explains how Girlmaxxing processes information when you use the Girlmaxxing iOS app and related support services.

1. Information you provide

Depending on how you use the app, Girlmaxxing may process:

  • Profile answers, such as your name, glow goals, focus areas, preferred style, routine experience, feedback preference, and journey length.
  • Photos and face scans that you capture or choose from your photo library.
  • AI results, including glow reports, scores, feature observations, routines, progress notes, and comparisons.
  • App activity stored on your device, such as completed routines, check-ins, streaks, reminder preferences, and onboarding status.
  • Purchase information, including product, transaction, entitlement, and renewal status for weekly or yearly subscriptions.
  • Support information you choose to include in an email or other support request.

2. How information is used

  • Generate your AI glow report, routine, progress comparison, and personalized reminders.
  • Save your scans and history so you can review progress over time.
  • Provide and restore paid subscription access.
  • Operate the app, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.

3. AI processing and face photos

When you request a scan, your selected photo, relevant profile answers, and relevant previous results may be securely sent to OpenAI through its API to generate your report. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. See OpenAI's data-use information.

Girlmaxxing does not use face photos to identify you, authenticate you, build a face-recognition database, or advertise to you. Only submit photos of yourself or photos you have clear permission to use.

4. Storage and retention

Your saved profile, scans, reports, routines, and progress history are stored primarily on your device. You can delete all scans while keeping your preferences, or use Delete Account in Settings to erase the app's locally stored profile, reports, routines, and photos.

Information transmitted to service providers may be processed and retained according to their policies, legal obligations, and security requirements. Support emails may be kept as needed to respond and maintain appropriate records.

5. Service providers

Girlmaxxing does not sell your personal information. Limited information is shared only where needed to provide the app:

  • OpenAI processes scan photos and context used to generate AI reports and routines.
  • Apple provides app distribution, device permissions, notifications, In-App Purchase billing, subscription management, and refunds.
  • RevenueCat processes purchase history and anonymous entitlement information used to unlock Pro access. RevenueCat notes that its service collects purchase history for app functionality and analytics. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

6. Permissions and choices

  • Camera: used only when you capture a scan. You can change access in iOS Settings.
  • Photo library: used when you choose an existing image.
  • Notifications: used for optional glow reminders and can be disabled in Girlmaxxing or iOS Settings.
  • Subscriptions: can be managed or canceled in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Deletion: use the controls in Girlmaxxing Settings to delete scans or erase local app data.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted network transport and iOS data-protection features. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children

Girlmaxxing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.

9. International processing and your rights

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Contact us to make a privacy request.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows when this version became effective.
