1. delete profile and history
- Open Pray First.
- Open Settings from the profile/settings control.
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap “delete my data” and confirm.
This removes the local onboarding profile, preferences stored by the main app, prayer history, scripture history, and onboarding-completion state. It also cancels Pray First’s pending local notifications.
2. clear protected apps and schedules
Before deleting, open the Block tab, edit protected apps, and remove selected apps, categories, and websites. Turn off or adjust scripture interruptions as needed. This clears the selections used by Pray First’s Screen Time extensions.
If a shield remains visible, reopen Pray First once, remove the selection, and revoke Screen Time/Family Controls permission in iOS Settings. Uninstalling the app and its extensions also removes their local container data under normal iOS behavior, subject to Apple device backups and restoration.
3. revoke permissions
In iOS Settings, you can revoke Camera, Notifications, and Screen Time/Family Controls access. Revoking permissions prevents future use but does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase Apple transaction history.
4. cancel separately
Deleting data or uninstalling Pray First does not cancel a paid subscription.
To stop renewal, open iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Pray First > Cancel Subscription. See the subscription page for details.
5. Apple, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and support records
Apple controls App Store transaction records and may keep them for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and account purposes. RevenueCat processes the receipt and entitlement information used to provide subscription access. To request deletion or access involving Pray First’s RevenueCat customer record, email us so we can identify the correct anonymous record and submit an appropriate provider request where applicable.
Prayer-check images are not saved in Pray First history. OpenAI may retain API records under its then-current retention policy. Support emails may be kept where needed to resolve requests, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
6. request help
Email anthonyvvza@gmail.com with the subject “Pray First data request.” Describe the request and, if it concerns a purchase, provide only the minimum transaction information needed. Never email a password, full payment-card number, camera capture, or Apple Account password.
Because Pray First has no traditional account and most data stays on your device, we may not possess or be able to remotely retrieve local profile or history data.
